" Even a single person can change the world...
make the impossible, possible..
Break the shackles of old values and discover a new common sense
NEXT INNOVATION will give a shock to the world!" -Tohru Hyuga, CEO of Next Innovation -

"If you start something new, it has to meet failure, it has to be criticized. This is where the creation process begins!" -Aoyama-

Last week, on the Monday (25th March 2013), I spent my all night to watch a Japanese drama entitled "Rich Man, Poor Woman". Sincerely, I'm not the person who loves to watch drama. Thats why I can finish the whole 11 episodes only for a night due to the so many skipping. But, skipping episode doesn't mean I don't know what the story is all about. Never mind about the "skipping" topic. What I want to say here is, through this story, I'd learn so many things.

For your information, this story is about a girl who just finished her study at University of Tokyo (one of the most top university in the world). The story starts with she's doing a job hunting but out of all 30 jobs that she's applying, she got none of them. Despite the fact that she's one of the excellent students graduated from University of Tokyo, there is nothing special about her (only for her excellent memory is excluded). On the other hand, the "hero" is a CEO of a growing IT company in Japan named Next Innovation. The man is just a high-school graduated student yet he's a genius. He, alone, can make a very creative, innovative and practical new interface in just 2 days. Then, the girl and the guy meet each other and they start working together. What so special about this story is I love the way Tohru Hyuga, the hero, thinks and I really excited by just looking at the way he operates the Next Innovation (yes I know. this is just a story and he's just an actor who just memorized and followed the script but i just love the story line. It's brilliant!)

I'm not promoting this drama but what I want to say here is, sometimes watching dramas is not wasting our times because from there we can learn so many things that we never learn in the real life. So, what I get from this drama are:

(1) Education is important but sometimes, education means nothing to us. What I mean is, we learn but we never take and understand what we learn. Some of us just think on how to pass the exam, they memorize so many things to pass the exam but how many of them that really learn what education tell them?

(2) Hunting for a job is not as easy as you can pass the exam. If you think it is hard to pass the exam, then, hunting for a job is more difficult and challenging than that. We always think and hope to graduate early because we always think that working is much easier than studying. but we're all wrong. The truth is working is more difficult than studying. When studying, we have books with us, we just need to read and memorize to pass the exam but when you're doing a job, you don't have a book with you and you can't memorize a book because the real thing is not as same as what stated in a book. So, for the students like me, appreciate your time as a student. Believe me, you'll miss that time in the future, when you're working.

(3) Make the impossible, possible. We always make an excuse when we can't do something. For example, you've been told by your lecturer to create a new thing like sell rabbit burger in your hostel or design a red color of bulldozer, then you say you can't. How can it be? You never try to make it yet you say you can't? It is a cowardly excuse. Try to make it as a challenge to you. When you make the impossible, possible to you, then it means you're open to create new things. Mind that!

(4) Don't give up so easily when your idea is being criticized by others and when you failed to create what you want to create. Everyone knows the story of Thomas Edison when he was creating the bulb. He succeeded during his 1000th tries. You know what? When you introduce something that is new to the world, people will always criticize that new thing because the thing is new to them. Usually, something that's not being criticized by others is not a new thing because they already used to that thing. Thats why, If you start something new, it has to meet failure, it has to be criticized because this is where the creation process begins!

(5) The people who're useful to everyone are the one who're always contributing new innovations, new ideas to the world. Then, this is what I say, what I think, "The muslim that is useful to Islam is the productive one, the one who's always contributing new ideas, new innovation to Islam." Now, tell me... What is your next innovation? The innovation that will rise Islam in the eye of the world. What is yours??

That's all. Wassalam.

*p/s: Don't forget to determine what is your NEXT INNOVATION! :)

" Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah , Lord of the worlds. " (Ali-Imran 6: 162)

" O you who have believed, if you support Allah , He will support you and plant firmly your feet. " (Muhammad 47:7)

Assalamualaikum!

Hey guys! It's almost two months I left this blog alone, without updating anything. It's not because I hate this blog but I just a little bit busy (takde la busy sangat sebenarnya. Malas je yang lebihnya). Today I have something to share with all of you especially to the SPM leavers. First of all, congratulation on your result! So, result dah dapat. Sekarang mesti semua busy dengan bermacam-macam jenis borang scholarship untuk diisi kan? Isi-isi jugak. Jangan lupa untuk completekan borang permohonan UPU ye! Okay, back to our topic. I've been asked by my juniors about how I got into IIUM and how I applied the Economics and Management Sciences Course and I believe that most of you are excited to know about it. So, in this post I list down almost all of the frequently asked questions about this course and I answer the faq based on what I know. Enjoy your reading!

(1) How to apply the Foundation of Economics and Management Sciences at International Islamic University Malaysia?

Using the UPU application form. Dekat bahagian pemilihan universiti, you need to give 8 choices right? then, in the first or second place of your choice, find and choose "Universiti Islam Antarabangsa-Asasi Ekonomi dan Sains Pengurusan"

(2) What is this "Economics and Management Sciences" course? Do we need to take care of sciences also?

Actually, this course is all about economic, accounting and management. It has nothing to do with sciences. The table below shows the subject that you'll take in this Economics and Management Sciences Foundation.

(3) I've heard that for those who take foundation in IIUM, they will definitely enter and take degree at IIUM, no matter what the result of CGPA they get at foundation level. Is that true?

We have our own requirement to pursue degree at IIUM and the requirement for us, students of Economics and management Sciences, is minimum CGPA 2.5.

(4) How long will be the duration of taking this foundation?

Actually, IIUM is the most confusing university when it comes to the foundation level. Some people think, foundation is an one year pre-graduate programme. But, for your information, how long the period you'll be at foundation level in IIUM is based on your EPT and APT results. Some students will be there for one year, one and half years or two years, based on your study plan (you will get the study plan after you get you EPT and APT results because your study plan is based on your EPT and APT results). (5) Where will be the foundation of IIUM campus?

The Centre For Foundation Studies (CFS) campus is at Petaling Jaya. However, due to the exceeded capacity of students, the foundation of Economics and Management Sciences is moved to the main campus at Gombak. The registration and Taaruf Week (orientation week) will be conducted at CFS Petaling Jaya for all students including ECONS students. ECONS students will be brought to Mahallah Maryam at IIUM Gombak only after the Taaruf Week.

(6) I've read about EPT and APT from the beginning of this post. Actually, what are the EPT and APT?

Ops! Sorry. I almost forgot to tell you about APT and EPT.

EPT is the English Placement Test that you will take during the Taaruf Week. This EPT consist of two paper, Paper 1 and Paper 2. You are given 3 hours to finish all the questions in both papers.

APT is the Arabic Placement Test that you will take during the Taaruf Week (basically, you'll take it on the same day as EPT). This APT consist of one paper only (including 2 essay questions in that paper). Usually, only those who have basic in Arabic will answer this APT questions while the other who do not have basic will just leave the paper like that (and absolutely they will take Arabic Part 1 in their study plan).

(7) What is the minimum requirement to enter this foundation (Syarat am dan syarat khas)?

You can find the requirement from this website : Syarat Khas Program

(8) What are the co-curricular activities that exists for Economics and Management Sciences student?

All students are required to attend two courses – Innovative Leadership & Training course and Biro Tata Negara (BTN). It is compulsory to all students.

(9) Is there any usrah provided for the ECONS students?

Yes it is! We have Study Circle which will be conducted by the Facilitator Representative Committee (FRC). This Study Circle is compulsory to all students and we have examination for this. You will be introduced to this Study Circle activities during Taaruf Week or you can find it here : FRC. After that, we have Golden Team for ECONS students which is conducted by MRC. PEMBINA IIUM also provide usrah programme for its members. There are so many usrah you can join when you join programme with the degree's students. That's one of the advantages of being ECONS students (because we are living at main campus with the degree students).

(10) Can I bring motorcycle or car (common question)?

Yes you can for motorcycle only. For car, you can't. Tapi, kalau nak jugak bawak kereta, silakanlah bawak. Kalau nasib anda baik, takde spotcheck, takde masalah la. Tapi, kalau ada spotcheck, melayang lah RM 50 anda. By the way, only for ECONS students can bring motorcycle while for Petaling Jaya students, you're not allowed at all. (Don't forget to bring the helmet also. If you get caught by the traffic guard, you'll be summoned for RM 50. They are always waiting for students at the T junction nak masuk Mahallah Maryam every morning. Be cautious!)

(10) Do you have any pictures of IIUM?

Yes I do. InsyaAllah I'll upload all of those pictures in my new posts. Have faith! :)

" For a moment I forgot that I have a great friend. The one who always corrects me when I'm wrong, the one who always listens to me and helps me without even knowing that he helps me a lot. Actually I'm a lucky person. Lucky to know him and lucky to be tested by Allah. But how ungrateful I am. I keep talking bad to him and keep thinking bad about what happens..." -Anynomous-
People always forget about everything they have whenever they are down and I am one of them. This situation happened to me yesterday. Before I start my story, I would like to remind you that I'm not going to change my blog into a "Blog Diary". It's just a "Sharing Moment" (maybe.. If it is accepted.. hehe).

Yesterday I got a lot of tasks (not a lot just 2 tasks after all). Seriously, one of the tasks makes us, the Economics and Management Sciences students become a little bit crazy because we need to read a bunch of articles related to accounting and business (not just 1 or 2 but a bunch! can you imagine how it feel like? Even vomiting is not enough, I guess..). After consuming all of the articles and studies, I got headache (The first headache for this new semester. Very impressive...maybe..). Just after that, something came up and this 'something' made me felt very down. I felt like I lost everything and I was in lost (at that time). Actually, that 'something' is not a very serious matter like someone was dead or I was killed (the one who write this post is not my ghost because I'm still alive. So, please don't be afraid. hehe). That 'something' is just a little thing like I lost my pen or I killed a mosquito (anyway, that's not true so don't believe it). Anyway, I'm not going to share about this kind of "something" but I want to share about what my great friends told me yesterday.

Okay, this is the first lecture that I got from my great friends yesterday (there are three of them after all).

" Do you believe me if I tell you that you're a lucky person? You know why? Because even if you don't get what you really want but Allah always gives you what's the best for you. You're always at your best. In this world, there are some kind of people who are always get what they want and what they ask but how many of them be grateful to Allah? Allah gives you a moderate life so that you always remember Him. Allah tests you because He loves you. For example, you have migraine and every time you are stress, it will attack you. You know what? Your sins are reduced every time you feel the pain. Can you imagine if the pain doesn't exist? your sins will never be reduced (what i mean here is the sins can't be reduced at that time and the sins are reduced due to Allah's mercy). So, just think positive. Everything happens for a reason. Allah will never gives you the burdens that you can't survive from it. That's His promise." -My great classmates (with a little bit of my own pieces of mind)-

This is the second lecture from my other great friend...

" I just can say this simple thing. Allah doesn't grant your great wish but He gives you the other great thing. He puts you here because He knows this is the best place for you. You have many things that you hate here such as you have to learn numbers (For your information, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics and many more are all about numbers meanwhile, I hate numbers) but you can survive in exam and your results are much better than me, the one who has basic in Accounting (She said that because I don't really focus on my study last semester. Can you imagine? Everyone is studying very hard for the exam but what I do is watching Detective Conan. So funny. haha). You don't realize it yet but maybe you are belong to this place and you don't need the reason for that." -My great roommate-

And the last one comes from my ultimate great friend is not really a lecture or advice. It is more to complaint and criticism. So, I do not intend to share the criticism and complaint here because it is completely unrelated to this topic ( He help me unintentionally. He critics about other things but it makes me realize about what I lack. Thousands thanks to him)

So, These are my conclusions:

(1) Everything happens for a reason. So, don't worry about what happens because there is definitely a reason, whether it is good or bad.

(2) Don't feel down if we don't get what we want. Allah plans something greater for us. So, please be patient because Allah's plan have never be wrong.

(3) If we have a problem, try to solve it. Not only think about the problem but think how to solve the problem. Saying "O Allah! I have a big problem!" is not enough. You need to find any initiatives to solve the problems.

(4) Be positive. No matter what happens, please, please  and please be positive. Positive thinking makes our mind think rationally and no matter what's the problem, we can find how to overcome it when our mind is in its right state.

(5) Smile always. A smile can reduce a bunch of stress. That's the power of smile. Don't believe it? then try it now and you will feel a bit relieved.

(6) We keep chasing what we want but we always forget to be grateful on what we have. For example, we have a lot of great friends who are always by our side. That's more than enough for us. So don't chase for a boyfriend or a girlfriend anymore. (Just kidding.. hehe)

(7) Lastly, Friends are the siblings from different parents. So, please appreciate and love them. Cherish the friendship till jannah.

Thats all. Thanks for patiently read this post. See you guys in the next post! (bajet cam selebriti gitu.. hehe)

"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."" (Al-Baqarah 2:286)

"And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners." (Ali-Imran 3:54)

Palestine is being attacked again! Israel released bombs all over the Gaza. People in Gaza are dying. Many soldiers syahid during the war. Yet, how many of us take note about what happen in Gaza. What we do is celebrating the new year with fireworks and full of joy. Meanwhile, our brothers and sisters in Gaza celebrate the new year with bombs and cries. From now on, stop being silence my friends! Show your supports and protest this cruel war! Silence is betrayal! Let's pray for Gaza. InsyaAllah. One day, Palestine will be free again and we'll win against them! Have faith my brothers and sisters in Gaza. Allah will definitely helps us. Ameen.

Let's pray for Gaza! Recite the du'a in every prayer!

Meaning: "O Allah! we put You on our enemies necks and we seek Your refuge from their evil. O Allah, destroy their groups, split their association, dismantle their alliance, shake their stance, send Your army to them. O Allah, The Most Powerful, The Avenger. O Allah, O Allah, O Allah. O God, who granted the Quran, O God who move the clouds, O God who defeated the army of Ahzab, defeat them and grant us victory over them."

Meaning: "O Allah, glorify Islam and the Muslims. O Allah, help the Muslims and the Mujahideen in Palestine. O Allah, strengthen their faith and give peace in their hearts and merge their line. O Allah, give doom to the Kuffar and the Unbelievers. O Allah, destroy the Jews and Israel and detach their union. O Allah, grant the victory to the Mujahideen over the enemy with Your mercy, O Most Merciful. Peace be upon to Prophet Muhammad."

Palestine Tomorrow Will Be Free...

Every day we tell each other
That this day will be the last
And tomorrow we all can go home free
And all this will finally end
Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

No mother no father to wipe away my tears
That's why I won't cry
I feel scared but I won't show my fears
I keep my head high

Deep in my heart I never have any doubt
That Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

I saw those rockets and bombs shining in the sky
Like drops of rain in the sun's light
Taking away everyone dear to my heart
Destroying my dreams in a blink of an eye

What happened to our human rights?
What happened to the sanctity of life?

And all those other lies?
I know that I'm only a child
But is your conscience still alive

I will caress with my bare hands
Every precious grain of sand
Every stone and every tree
'Cause no matter what they do
They can never hurt you
Coz your soul will always be free

Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

"[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned.
